What is a "Safe Ride"?
A Safe Ride is just what it sounds like, a safe way to get you, and your vehicle, home in one piece.
We are Bermuda’s premier chauffeur service, providing a driver who, arriving on a Di Blasi foldable moped, will meet our guest at a pre-determined location and transport both guest and their four-wheeled vehicles to their destination of choice. Our mission is to help keep the streets of our island safer by offering an alternative solution for guests who want to enjoy an evening out on the town without worrying about how they, or their vehicle, will get home at the end of the night.
We also provide an Airport Shuttle service.
How does Safe Ride work?
When you want an evening out without worrying about how you will get yourself and your four-wheeled vehicle back home safe and sound, book with Safe Ride. We guarantee to deliver our precious cargo to its destination.
At the time of your Safe Ride, our driver, who will arrive on his foldable Di Blasi electric moped, will meet you at a predetermined location. The Di Blasi moped is compact and fits snuggly in the boot or backseat of a standard four-wheeled vehicle.
Once we reach your final destination, our driver will hand over your keys and head onto his next appointment.
Who can use “Safe Ride”?
Safe Ride is a safe and secure alternative for drivers, aged 18 and older, who have a valid driver’s license and operate a four-wheeled vehicle.
In addition to our designated driver programme, we offer an Airport Shuttle service, as well as non-scheduled driving services as needed. Please contact our customer service department for more information and a la carte rates.
How does the chauffeur get home?
Safe Ride is designed with ensuring the safety of drivers on Bermudian roads. Our drivers are equipped with a foldable electric Di Blasi moped that fits snuggly in the boot or backseat of any standard four-wheeled vehicle.
Once your driver has delivered you and your vehicle to your destination, they can quickly unfold their DiBlasi moped and attend to the next customer.
What if I don’t have a license?
Safe Ride is not a standard taxi service. To utilize our services, customers must have a valid driver’s license and be operating a four-wheeled vehicle at the time for which the booking is requested.
Can I book Safe Ride if I have a bike?
To reserve a Safe Ride, customers must have a four-wheeled vehicle. Our DiBlasi electric moped will not fit on the back of a scooter.
How do I pay for Safe Ride?
For the time being, Safe Ride reservations can be paid for by cash (exact change is required) in person, preferably at the time of pickup, unless otherwise discussed with your driver. Or, if available, email money transfers.
